About the Photographer

Thank you for stopping by my site! My name is Tygre (pronounced Tiger) and I started my photography business in 2009. I went to college to be an elementary teacher and after teaching for 5 years, I decided to pursue my passion for photography. For three years I had the wonderful opportunity of working as a Photo Stylist for DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse). I fully enjoyed photographing shoes and handbags and enhancing my skills as I learned from some extremely talented coworkers. Now, I get to merge my passions as Media Coordinator at McGraw-Hill Education working with media that is placed in product for learners all across the globe! I am blessed to have a wonderful mentor, I read many many books and online forums from professional photographers, and attend seminars and many webinars to enhance my skills.

I specialize in wedding and portrait photography but I also photograph events from Birthday's to Award Ceremonies. My background and experience in teaching lend me unique and valuable skills for children photography.

I have been honored to be a part of a photography team that takes pictures of Arnold Schwarzenegger with the winners and sponsors at the Arnold Classic since 2009. In the past I have worked with a Primrose School for charity events that support our local Children's Hospital as well as other charities.
